Yá'át'ééh (A traditional Navajo Greeting)! My name is Sibyl McLendon. I am a 1/2 Navajo woman. I live in Arizona, in the southwestern part of the U.S. with my husband, Bobby. Bobby is 1/4 Cherokee. I have 2 grown sons, and a grandson who is just turned 8. We also live with Lucy the dog and Yazzie the parakeet. (Yazzie is Navajo for "little") I owned a small gift shop until about 5 years ago, where I sold the leatherwork and seed bead work that I made. When that store closed, I thought that it would be nice to have a website to sell my
creations. After getting ripped off by two different "webmasters" I decided that it was time to teach myself how to do it. Since that time, I have
built a successful website design business, Spirit Web
Design. I have formal training in Indian Medicine work, and a degree in social services. I am also an ordained minister. In the past, I could not see how the last two things were ever going to amount to much in my life. Now, I can clearly see why they are a part of my life. I believe that as long as we are going with the flow of the universe, then we will be guided to exactly where we are supposed to be. I know that I am exactly where I am supposed to be, I have found coaching to be more rewarding than I ever thought possible. I am very proud of my heritage. Although I don't really agree with having to, I am registered with the federal government. My Navajo name means Dream Walker.
